Most interested in shops with a good selection of used/new CDs (power
pop, aor, spanish bands). I know I'll probably find an HMV or Virgin
store and pick up a bunch of stuff that hasn't been released here yet
(Orson, Silver Sun, etc) but, I'd love to hit some more underground shops.
It may be worth spending some time in Sister ray (formerly Selectadisc) my
favourite central London 'indie' store which is on Berwick Street in Soho.
While on Berwick there is also the Music & Video Exchange and Reckless
Records for loads of used cds/vinyl.
There are also other Music & Video Exchanges in Notting Hill, Camden and
Greenwich.
I'd try and find the UK only releases (Orson, Silver Sun) here 2nd hand (or
reviewer copies) before hitting Virgin or HMV.
