Can I just say that this list is great?
I just picked up Sugarbomb's "Bully" (for $2 at Amazon, YOW!) and it is great. 
I've also bought Sean Lennon's friendly Fire and Jon Auer's recent solo based on recommends here and so far all are great albums!
I have for years relied on Mojo magazine for helping me wade through/filter the ever-rising tsunami of pop album releases to find the ones that fit me and it has done a great job, but I lean strongly toward the kind of pop that is talked about here....
Anyway, just a quick note of appreciation.
