In an article that I recently read, Bell said that his influences are the
Beatles, Beach Boys and Queen. The disc sounded interesting, so I'm going
to pick it up as a Christmas present for my kids and burn a copy for myself.

Drake Bell is correct. Believe it or not, he's actually a teen idol
TV star with his own show on Nickelodeon. (If you have a daughter
around 12 or so, go sneak a peek at her bedroom walls -- he's probably
on there.) The album is called IT'S ONLY TIME and it came out
yesterday. I haven't gotten around to last night's episode on the
TiFaux yet, but I assume he did the single "I Know," which is indeed
pretty good. It's got an unexpectedly '70s vibe to it: lotsa
compressed piano and even a little bit of clavinet.
