As Russ said the 12 Bar is great.
I'd also recommend the Borderline (just off Charing Cross Road near Foyles
Book shop) is also pretty good, more in an alt.country roots/rock style.
Jon Auer (Posies/Big Star) is playing there tomorrow night!
