True. And if you count The Spirit as a newspaper strip, then that's
head and shoulders in the lead. But McKay also did some of the most
important early animation, so he still wins over Herriman.
BTW, anyone who's not reading Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's
All-Star Superman has no soul.
