There are no recorded versions but if you'd like to hear some great ELO
covers performed , just tune into 90.5 KUT (http://www.kut.org) this
Thursday
morning at 10:30 to hear K-Tel and Tosca live on the
air! Friday morning they will appear on 93.7 KLBJ (http://www.klbjfm.com)
at
8:20 and 107.1 KGSR (http://www.kgsr.com) after 8:30.
The ELO set is being performed in Austin at Antone's this Fri night. I saw
the previous performance this past summer - a fun, well-performed set and
it's worth hearing and seeing again. K-Tel Hit Machine includes Darin
Murphy, his sister, Trish, a few members from The Real Heroes, and Johnny
Goudie. Tosca String Quartet perform on their own but also perform with
other Austin bands and have toured with David Byrne.
