Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstone did that shtick for years in Sleater-Kinney. :-) Maybe it's cooler with girls...

I've had to endure the latest albums by A Static Lullaby and Four Letter
Lie, and, man, it's got to be the most infuriating musical genre I can
remember. Basically, you have one vocalist who can actually sing, and he's
teamed with one who screams like Lemmy after he's gargled with sulfuric
acid. I feel old just saying this, but.how can kids enjoy this? I can
understand the appeal of both types of "singers".but not within the same
song!
