I always enjoyed the melody of my home phone number as a kid 
(885-5442)...kind of reminded me of the beginning of "Turning Japanese" with 
less notes...

  I believe the song is "Jive Talking".  The guitar riff for that record was
inspired
  by that sound.  Memory doesn't tell me if it was Barry, Robin or Maurice

  was inspired by the drive across the bridge.  I've heard the story told by

  than one of them.  It was mentioned on VH-1's "Storytellers" too.  I 
always
thought that was the coolest story about song inspiration.
