From Anna Borg <anna@tallboyrecords.com>
Subject My Chemical Romance and why my non-existent kids are lucky I'm not a parent.

Having seen various magazine covers featuring the
oh-so-scary looking band My Chemical Romance, I
assigned a certain sound to them and wrote them off as
something for the kids. Guy-liner and emohair, all
designed to make the average parent tsk tsk their
concern. I'm not sure what I thought they sounded
like..maybe a dark/goth/heavy/screaming (screamo,
right?) kind of thing.

BUT, that's not how they sound at all.

After seeing a few videos and live clips, they are
(VERY POORLY) I might add, channeling QUEEN of all
bands, Hell, even grandmothers love Queen.

Anyway. I would be merciless in my mocking of this
band if my kid had their posters all over the bedroom.
Why do parents do that? My mom used to do it to me,
comparing every band I loved to The Beatles.

In case you haven't seen it, here is the video

It's HILARIOUS, unintentionally so, I guess.

poor kids.

Poor millionaire kids.

And why am I posting this to Audities? Because I
never post anymore and because I think these guys are
secretly a really good power pop band.
