I had the privilege of being able to chat with Andy Partridge today - I'm
not sure where he is on my list of musical icons, but he's definitely way up
in the upper tier - and I experienced a moment during the interview that was
nothing short of sheer bliss for a fan of both British music and British
comedy such as myself.and most of the people I know who would appreciate it
are on these lists, so I wanted to share it.

Andy and I had just been talking about how his home recording studio is
actually in a shed in his back yard, I said, "You know, when I hear the word
'shed,' I'm always instantly reminded on the Monty Python sketch."

I hadn't even finished before he provided the name of the character in the
sketch in question: Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson.

(If you're not familiar with it, go here:
http://orangecow.org/pythonet/sketches/arthurtw.htm)

Anyway, Andy went on to confirm that he has indeed recently purchased a
second shed, so he can, in fact, accurately be called Andy "Two Sheds"
Partridge.

I will now never think of him in any other way.

Best,

WiLL
