I don't know if anyone can enlighten you -- music taste is a
subjective thing, you either like something, or you don't, or
you warm up to it, or grow to hate it. Critics will tend to like
a variety of things, from scratchy vocals to pretty vocals...
and there's a lot of artists out there who may not be to your
liking, but someone else probably likes 'em. To each his/
her own!
