I suspect one of the outcomes of the recent election -- and the questionable spin that it was a victory for a conservative Democrats -- will finally demolish the only liberal-conservative monolithic characatures and cause people to start thinking in this country less along rigid idealogical lines. I sure as hell hope so...nothing's poisoned our political discourse more than the mindless parroting of talking points by pundits and ordinary people alike.
I wrote a centrist political song once...does that count?
