I'd be glad to hear about something better, but I've been pretty happy
with OrangeCD, in the past. After a hard drive crash, I need to go
back through and catalogue everything again (with backups this time)
so if there's a new kid on the block, I'd like to hear about it.
You can get OrangeCD to read CDs, look them up on freedb and add them
to your library. It will also look for cover art, records the track
names, etc. And you can export to HTML, allowing you to share the
list of your collection in the form of a pretty well-arranged website.
