Subject: Live double bills
Hey all,
Browsing through my concert ticket collection I got to thinking
about fave double bills I'd seen...
Back on the 27th March 1978 I had the pleasure of witnessing Kansas
supported by the mighty Cheap Trick down in Manchester. (What happened after
the concert will make a future blog on MySpace). Both bands were awesome in
their own way.
Another twosome that blew me away at the time were Huey Lewis and the
News ably supported by Bruce Hornsby and the Range - this was back in 1986
at the height of their "powers". I often wonder if the two bands had five a
side soccer games before gigs...
Any other listers have similar favourites?? I've got loads more but don't
want to clog the list...
Cheers, Brian
