I saw that same tour, Lee. Elvis was supporting 'Mighty Like A Rose'.
On paper, a dream double bill, but the 'Mats were close to calling it a day and were uninspired and uninspiring playing in a 'summer shed' (Great Woods outside of Boston).
And Rose was a mediocre album, and EC looked ridiculous with beard. Also felt like he was going thru the motions. And I forgot about the fact that it wasn't the Attractions.
