Subject RIP CBGB

I just wanted to say a fond farewell to CBGB, the coolest club that I 
ever visited, which closes its doors after Patti Smith's performance 
tonight.  I only saw about a dozen shows there, but I always felt like 
I was in a special place, knowing what took place there in the '70s.  
I'm very sad that Hilly Krystal wasn't able to find the financial 
support to make a deal with the landlord and keep it open.  All good 
things must come to an end, but this one is ending too soon.
