My fave was The Alarm opening for The Pretenders
(Learning To Crawl tour) at the San Francisco Civic
Center. I loved that first Alarm album & coulda left
at half-time, but I'm glad I stuck around for The
Pretenders. Come to think of it, I've never seen a bad
Pretenders show (out of about 7 or 8 times).
I saw that My Bloody Valentine / Dino Jr tour at The
Metro in Chicago and it was the LOUDEST show I've even
seen...pretty damn good too.
