Saw the same signs at Harvard Sq. also, about four or five of them scattered throughout the festival yesterday. I figured it was just the local Tower closing, similar to the Virgin Records on Newbury St. Never thought it was the entire chain, although Tower has been in dire financial straits for years (reportedly).

Another retailer bites the dust- that'll learn 'em for selling CD's for $18.99.
