I actually had to get reconditioned to like Nilsson again.  The "Lime in 
the Coconut" song was one of the classic songs, overplayed on the radio 
until you couldn't stand it or him anymore.   But Nilsson Schmilsson and 
Son of Schmilsson got me back on board again.

I still clearly remember the 7-Up shooting out my nose the first time I 
heard "You're Breaking My Heart".  Which is strange, because I was 
drinking milk at the time.

Which leads me to Kirsty MacColl, who wrote the world's greatest 
post-breakup "getting the last word in" songs.  Nobody could tell 'em 
off like Kirsty...  I saw her play in San Francisco in support of 
Titanic Days, and after she did "Innocence", she said, "That got 
'im!"     She was one of a kind.
