I have an iPod and I love it. Sure there are other MP3 players out there, but
for ease of use I find the iPod the best.

Sounds like I don’t have as many albums as many people on this list – probably
around the 1500 mark. Even that is too many to cram on to my 40Gb player (I
can get about 12,000 songs onto it).

Because there are so many new songs to listen to and so little time there’d be
no point in my putting 1500 albums on anyway.

The iPod is great for the following reasons:

I can listen to stuff at work/car/train easily.
I can download Podcasts like the “Not Lame” podcast.

iTunes is good for putting together compilations for my friends.

The shuffle is great for reminding of tunes that I’ve loved in the past and
have slipped from my memory.

On the subject of the sample quality: I sample at 128khz and I find that’s
find for my ears. As good as a CD? Of course not – but good enough to listen
to whilst I’m working.

Hope you’re all well.
