Hey Hey We're The Monkees was indeed released on DVD, tho' I don't know if
it's still available. It was a decent documentary, probably the best Monkees
documentary we'll ever see. I don't think either the VH1 or the E! specials
were ever released on home video.
Incidentally, I do like VH1's Daydream Believers, the movie that started this
particular thread. Nowhere near perfect, perhaps not even particularly
good...BUT it's better than a quickly-made, low-budget TV movie has any right to
be. Marty's note prompted me to take the DVD outta the cabinet and watch bits
of it again; it's actually the first time I've gotten around to watching any
of the bonus interviews.
Oh, and I give Daydream Believers bonus points for creating a romp for "All
Of Your Toys," The Monkees Single That Shoulda Been.
