Ah, a memory from my youth (or yout, as Joe Pesce would say). Coupled
with the feel of sweat of other festival seating er standing stoners and
other folks, being packed in tight near the stage, and the smell of a
rock concert in a hockey arena from that time period, and you get a
complete nostalgia experience!
Other recent memories from not so recent times:
The song Ariel by Dean Freidman
Some TV show about or featuring James Thurber or something like that?
Rock instrumental hits on AM radio - hocus pocus, tubular bells,
Frankenstein, joy (Apollo 100?), classical gas, etc
Pickup whiffle ball games in the cul de sac
Building tree forts
Time Tunnel, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants
2 great pop songs about Rosemary/marie
Well, I guess I just really dated myself! (hey no one else would date
me back then...)
