I'm 47 years old and listen to an MP3 player. I don't regret having it
at all and enjoy it actually. I don't feel embarrassed being SEEN with
it but I do feel a bit embarrassed when people ask me what KIND of
player I have. "I have a DJ Ditty" I say in a calm, even but somewhat
strained voice. But the cranky guy in me is still holding out on cell
phones.
True story, I think...
I've heard that the guy who designed/created "pods" for the workplace
did so to create a temporary work stations for worker's during times
in which new construction was under way. He had no intention of it
becoming the landscape of our worklife and is unhappy that it has.
So to cope he blames Jordan Oakes.
