Hi Steve,

Thanks for that info. As a kid with insomnia I often did the same, and I
still dream of being the late-night rock or jazz DJ. (But here I am
stuck in the 2pm-7pm slot! Argh!) Then I saw the TV show "WKRP" and knew
that radio was gonna be my gig, since I couldn't hack it as a musician. LOL

I recently looked up Avery Fisher, in reference to Avery Fisher Hall in
New York City's Lincoln Center. Some website said that Fisher "invented
the transistor radio." Has anyone else heard this?

Happy Labor Day. As usual, I'm laboring...

Cheers,
Farrar
