I caught that tour in Minneapolis and yes, you are correct.
The one that comes to mind from several years ago was Love opening up
for The Zombies. Both bands are long time favs of mine (no big
surprise on this list). The Zombies were wonderful but seemed rather
quaint after the terrific rockin' set put on by Love. I hate to say it
per, any other night The Zombies would have ruled but that night Love
owned the stage. It's all about context.
