There's a nice video of Andy Partridge's theme for Wonderfalls with the
female leads lip-synching that is quite fun. I can't remember if it's on
the boxset or not, but it's fun.
And Sci-Fi channel here in the states is re-running Dead Like Me two
episodes at a time on Tuesday evenings (knowing SciFi, I'm sure it's on
plenty of other times, but that's when our DVR catches them). They are
still on the first season. My wife and I caught part of the second
season when it was on Showtime originally, so it's fun to see the first
season now. I would agree that the first season seems much more solid
than I remember the second season being.
However, knowing Dead Like Me has made it impossible for me to watch
Mandy Patinkin in the cop show that he's in now on CBS. I liked the one
or two episodes that I saw, but I kept thinking of him as Reuben, not as
an FBI profiler, and it just didn't work. Somehow, as much as I lurv
The Princess Bride, I can turn off the image of him from that movie, but
not from Dead Like Me. Funny how that works.
