"Dead Like Me" is probably my favourite TV show in years which, tragically,
was cancelled after two seasons. Eric "Will & Grace" McCormack's turn as a
womanizing a-hole and an appearance by Michael Des Barres were great
casting.
Met Stewart Copeland, who wrote the theme song, in LA in 2004 right after
season one had wrapped and had a short chat with him about the show. He had
hoped a soundtrack would emerge as there was some great incidental material
as well.
Also, my wife met Ellen Muth in July and because I couldn't be there she
wrote a faux Estimated Time of Death on a yellow post-it note, just like in
the show, for me with her autograph on it. Nice touch.
I've had a hard time finding others who watch the show....my wife won't
watch it cause the premise behind it just creeps her out. But she's just
fine with Buffy THe Vampire Slayer and Angel (huh?).
