Dunno about the "Shake Some Action" CD, I haven't seen it (although I did
pick up "Now" and "Jumping In The Night").
What I CAN vouch for is the "At Full Speed" 2CD collection which came out
recently - it has all their SIRE label output (including all the songs
from UK and US releases - I think they had slightly different
track-listings) PLUS the shorter demo version of Shake Some Action which I
actually much prefer to the album version. And, most importantly it all
sounds GREAT!
And while I am in pub-rock vein, another recent cracker I have been
listening to a lot is the revamped 2CD "Down By The Jetty" by Dr.
Feelgood. It contains the original mono mix plus a new stereo mix of the
album plus a ton of bonus tracks. Worth getting just to hear the clarity
of Wilco's guitar work in the stereo mixes.
np. Kiss - "Love Gun" - I've been beefing up my Kiss kollection of late -
is that OK with Mr Macho Borracho? :-)
