They deliberately keep the used bins pared down: end of November, 
early December, they have a massive used purge that puts practically 
everything in the bins at $1.  They also have the strictest 
used-acceptance policy I've ever seen.  So it's definitely a 
deliberate choice to keep their used bins small.

On the other hand, it's next to impossible to spend more than $12.88 
for a new release there (new releases by baby bands regularly retail 
for $5.99 for the first month or so), so I don't begrudge them the 
small used selection.  I swear, if Tower would study Newbury Comics 
for a couple of months, they'd see how to pull themselves out of the 
hole they've been in for the last two decades.

Bullmoose up in northern New England is another really good regional 
chain, incidentally.
