I just read that The Silos have signed to Bloodshot. Not sure if the
label will be releasing this one or an all-new CD (hopefully both!).

Its on Blue Rose, which I think is a German label. I think it has
been out (limited distribution) since early in the year. I heard they
were selling it at their shows in the spring. I only just got it
yesterday, and have played it once, but I think it is a good one.
Straight ahead rock'n'roll, not quite as "pretty" as the last one (on
which the violin and female backing vocals were prominent, harkening
back to Cuba) but maybe as good. A little bit of ambient drone tossed
in, but not so much that it sounds "experimental"-- just so it sounds
denser. I think it packs a nice wallop.
I bet Jonathan Rundman, if he's out there, would have something to say
about it.
Not Lame has it.
