I bought 4 copies from Not Lame of Michael's disc. I must say it is easily
the best cd I've purchased this year. Every track is stellar.

And if anyone thinks that by buying my cd Perfect Dream to hear the
definitive version of Long Red Bottle Of Wine, I'm afraid they might be a
bit dissapointed. Michael's version on SOOP 2 destroys mine. This hurts my
feeling a little bit but I reckon I'll get over it. From now on when I write
a new tune I'll send it to Michael to see how it should actually go!

In other non related news I'll be performing in Seattle on the 26th with my
old band the Windbreakers during IPO there. I've never played in the great
Northwest so it'll give me a reason to pull out my old chestnut The Girl
From Washington. Also on the bill will be the reunited True West (after 20
years) and my good friend Don Dixon. Matt Piucci from the Rain Parade will
be on hand so I'm expecting a lot of guitar heroics. I've been practicing a
whole lot so as not to be too embarassed but I suppose that's hopeless.

If any auditeers are in the neighborhood please drop by and say hello.
