I think his name is actually Tim Nordwind. I think there's another
principle at work as well: the couple of times I've seen OK Go live
(my wife has been a big fan ever since the days when they were sort of
the house band for the radio show This American Life), Tim has been
the one who supplies most of the stage banter. (Similarly, James is
the leader and singer in the Shins, but Marty is the one who actually
engages the audience between songs.) I think Tim's just the most
natural showman of the group, and therefore was the one least afraid
to do the kinda dorky lip-synching.
Anyone else think Tim's a dead ringer for Rusty Venture?
