I have seen the light and his name is Johnny Dowd. And he is good & he
is creepy! WOW what a sunday sermon it was in Vancouver. I became a
total fan with the first release, liked the second, kinda lost track and
now, having seen him live (and just picked up his newie) I'm back in the
fold.
Frankly, Johnny blew me away with his playing. His band was super tight
too. Gotta say didn't miss at all (in fact delighted not to have
present) the distracting ramblings of Kim John's muse along for the ride
(I'm sure the gent's will disagree.)
Ha-ha, in 1998 50 year old Johnny seemed a titch elderly to me, sunday I
was kinda admiring his nice grey locks. Briefly met him, real sweetie.
