Yes it does. And yet the labels continue to do it. And they wonder why
people download and trade and swap. They seem to know that their
business practices anger the customer, and yet they continue to do it.
I am in no way a business major, but that just seems dumb.

I would prefer it if they wanted to keep Elvis's fans happy. But we all
know the bottom line is the most important thing.
They can make the bonus/outake material available to fans via digital
downloads. They are not going after the casual Elvis fan with these
releases, and they know it.
Yes, I do agree that Elvis's work should all be in print. Trolling
the record companies to find another taker to re-re-re-release them
is not the way to go in this record buyers opinion. No I don't know
the answer, I am just a fan.
I am not in a band, I don't write for a magazine, online zine. I don't
work for a record label, nor am I in any way associated with the
music business. Other than I spend way to much money on music each
year. And I am sick and tired of people "in the biz" trying to explain
to me why these things happen.
I know, shut up and just don't buy. I don't. But as long as people
do, they will continue to do this.
Continue to treat the customer with disrespect, and they will
return the favor.
