Hey all..
A bit late on this one, but i picked up The Feeling's album a few weeks back
and think it's pretty incredible. Well, i got to see them tonight and they
were AMAZING. These guys are the real deal. If they get half a chance they
could go VERY big. If they come to your town, you should go see them.
My only complaint is that even though this is a glorified promo tour, they
still charged $38 Aus (about $28 US) and played for 40 minutes only.. with
no encore. A little bit too skinny for my liking. When asked after the show
why the set was so short, the singer said 'we thought it was just a
showcase'.
Pretty expensive showcase.. but they were absolutely, mind-bogglingly great.
He did redeem himself though by saying one of the best, funniest rock lines
i've heard for a while. During the wonderful 'I Love It When You Call', he
was trying to incite some handclapping. When the audience was slow to
respond, his comeback was ...
"Life's too short to be cool"..
I think i might put that on my headstone when i finally croak..
