Hey All,

Had a bit of a computer question. I know it's off topic but I figured
I'd ask since I believe there are a lot of IT folks on the list -

Was running 'Fix it Utilities' on one of my PCs running XP Pro. Started
with 'Disc Fixer' with the intent to use 'Jet Defrag' after to defrag my
drive. Normally works fine but this go around 'Disc Fixer' gave me a
message - "deleting an index entry from index $0 of file 25" and then
when I went to defrag it said it couldn't defrag because I had something
like a 'structural problem on the drive' or something like that and said
that I must use 'Disc Fixer' to repair the problem (which I just ran).
I then ran 'Disc Fixer' again but got the same result as before, same
message. I decided to use XP's internal defrag application in
'accessories' and that worked fine and gave me no error. My
programs/applications seem to be working fine so I was just wondering if
this is something I should be concerned about.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Please email me OFF list.

Thanks for enduring the off topic post.

Best,
Mark
