I'd like to know as well. My suspicion is that the gripe has to do with
using this gimmick of swapping used CDs to build up membership, but that
this isn't really a money-making business... and that the actual business
plan is to monetize the membership in other ways, making the CD swap mart a
bait-and-switch. My guess is an online community akin to MySpace but for
music buffs (I know, folks here might say MySpace IS for music buffs, but
apparently its really for pedophiles.) But I can't help but note that it
seems like no one writes reviews or blogs or does anything else at lala save
for swapping CDs.
