My original post got nuked by robots as a percieved duplicate post...
Based on what you've got, I might consider Yellow Balloon, Scott
Mackenzie, maybe even some of the mellower Turtles tracks. And out of
that pocket maybe some ABBA and Terry Sylvester-era Hollies. Maybe
Weasels Ripped My Flesh? Oops...went one too far.
