Only when an industry closes ranks and prevents free trade. Europeans
are getting used to being able to purchase goods from other countries
without barriers (other than local taxation). It is (largely) illegal
to prevent this free trade within the European Union, which is why
Apple's attitude is annoying (and frequently under investigation by
various European trade bodies). Also, if I want to buy a CD, I can
order it from Notlame or CDUniverse in the US and get it sent to the
UK. Not so with iTunes, which forces me to use its more expensive UK
store.
