<I think the Elvis TV special was more of the comeback than the
album that captured it.>

Hey Folks

The From Memphis Record is completely different from the 68 Special.

After the HUGE success of his special, he was inspired to record brand
new material. The 68 Special reminded audiences how great he was,
which was mostly updated live takes on his hits, some gospel and of
course "If I Can Dream." BTW: "If I Can Dream" is one the most
emotionally charged live performances I've ever seen. Hit me hard as a
kid. Still does to this day.

Re-read the item carefully:

<He followed up the 68 Special with arguably the best album of his
career, From Elvis In Memphis, a set of gritty rock songs, contemporary
R&B, and soft country-pop like "Gentle On My Mind" and "Any Day Now."
The record also featured one of his biggest hits, "In The Ghetto," a
swing at social relevance that, for the first time in a long time in
his career, was tuned in to its time.>

Just to be clear. Thanks.
