Yes, you are correct sir! I would add:
   Let's Get It On - Marvin Gaye  (best Motown album ever??)
   Zoom - The Knack
   Trade Test Tramsmissions - The Buzzocks

& tho not my cup-o-tea, American Idiot - Green Day

Mr Holmes astutely comments:

Along these lines the literal rediscovery of Howard Tate and being able
to see him perform live @ the Sweetwater in Mill Valley (thanks to Village
Music owner John Goddard) was way beyond anything that could be placed
on record.

And lastly & sadly I would have loved to report the new Shirts album "Only The
Dead Know Brooklyn" is a remarkable comback album but w/o Annie Golden
there's no spark. My absolute biggest musical disappointment (that Annie
wasn't envolved) in the past few years. I was hoping for Inner Sleeve II...
