I've long loved his two solo albums, the second one, Barrett, in particular. There's a sadness, innocence, and wonder that can't be faked. Meanwhile, I've never been able to warm up to Robyn Hitchcock. There's a sadness, innocence, and wonder I sense he'd like to get at yet is rarely able to fully scratch.
