I'm curious how many folks here have listened to
Barrett's solo work. In particular, Auditeers who are
fans of Robyn Hitchcock. I acquired a Barrett comp
that came out 10 years ago or so, after years of
listening to Hitchcock. I was aware of the
comparisons of Robyn to Syd, but listening to
Barrett's stuff, I began to think that Hitchcock
probably should have given Syd some of his royalties,
particularly for his early work.
So, if you are a Hitchcock fan who hasn't heard
Barrett's music, I would strongly recommend it.
