As a potential buyer, I'm looking for a few good opinions on The Chords, who
emerged in England during The Jam's mod heyday.
I also want to rave about THE FALL PARADE by the Anderson Council. It's a
fire-breathing piece of pop mayhem--rampaging drums, Marshall stack power
chords, sweet 'n' sour melodies, with a slightly hallucinogenic lyrical
bent(veddy British, actually). Like the missing link between The Creation
and The Jam--it's the best album the Smithereens haven't made lately.
