Subject The Chords

I really dug their album "So Far Away" and I agree with Jim who said 
they were the most consistent of the mod revival bands (aside from The 
Jam, of course).  They did have some decent singles, and are worth 
checking out.  I can't listen to the opening theme song for Jon 
Stewart's "Daily Show" without being reminded of a Chords song, I 
think it's "What Are We Gonna Do Now."  Pretty much the same guitar 
riff...

As for The Anderson Council, they just played a "mod night" at CBGB 
last Friday, along with '80s acts Mod Fun and The Ravens.  Anyone 
happen to make the scene?
