I'm not sure that I could really rank anything at this point but my favorite
CD's of the year thus far include:

The Envelopes - Demon
The Hazey Janes - Hotel Radio
The Power Cords - Modern Day Noise

Discs I've barely listened to yet:
Flaming Lips (even though I see them in concert this month)
Peeping Tom (ditto)
Sonic Youth
Jenny Lewis
Over The Hedge soundtrack w/ Ben Folds tracks
And finally, a couple of older releases that I've gotten into this year:
