Hey Marty,
I remember posting about "No Direction Home" back in September 05. No
takers at that time. Figured there weren't many Dylan fans here or no
one cared.
I found this to be incredibly intriguing and wonderfully done. Just
for the archive footage alone, I found it worth the trip. Of course,
Dylan's in my Sacred Trinity of all time influences right behind Elvis
& The Beatles.
Think I'll rewatch it this weekend.
Thanks,
BH

I'm probably the last one on the block, but I just finished watching the
documentary "No Direction Home", following Bob Dylan from his early
days
up through his decision to go electric and the bizarre fan reaction that
followed.
Wow.
To me, Dylan was an acquired taste, much in the same way it took Pet
Sounds a while to sink in. I've always considered myself a wishy washy
Dylan fan, really loving mostly the obvious pop hits, but sometimes I'd
have a hard time sitting through entire albums.
But this film is really an eye opener. If you haven't seen it yet, I
can't recommend it highly enough.
