Hi Everyone,
The schedules for the upcoming IPO Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and
Vancouver festivals are now up on the International Pop Overthrow myspace
page at www.myspace.com/internationalpopoverthrow
For those of you who aren't myspace savvy, when you get to the page, look
for the "Upcoming Shows" section on the right hand side. On the upper right
corner of that section, you'll find a tab which says "view all". Click on
that, and you'll be taken to a page which lists the schedules for all four
cities. You can also click on the names of each artist, and it will take
you to their myspace pages (or websites, if they don't have a myspace page).
Among the highlights in each city are:
Los Angeles: Roger Joseph Manning Jr., on August 8 at Spaceland (yes, it's
*that* Roger Manning, but this is the name he prefers to be known by so
that's what we're going to go with).
San Francisco: Scott Miller (of The Loud Family) on August 19 at Thee
Parkside. Bleu is also on the same bill.
Seattle: Jon Auer (of The Posies) on August 25 at The Crocodile Cafe.
Vancouver: Kevin Kane (of The Grapes of Wrath) on September 2 at The Railway
Club (which also happens to be my birthday, so that's quite a present for
me!).
Of course, there are hundreds of other great bands, just waiting to be
discovered by Auditeers and other pop fans!
The IPO LA schedule is up on our website (www.internationalpopoverthrow.com)
as well; the schedules for the other three cities should be up there
sometime this week.
As always, the IPO Schedules are subject to change.
