On a related note that I'm pretty excited about, I did an interview with
former DK frontman Jello Biafra - who is NOT, repeat, NOT part of the band's
line-up any longer - about his upcoming spoken-word gig at the NorVa for the
Hampton Roads alt-weekly, PortFolio Weekly (http://www.portfolioweekly.com).
Although the magazine had only asked for a Q&A of about 1,000 words, I went
ahead and transcribed the entire 40-minute conversation because so many of
my friends wanted to read it, then sent PFW their edit as well as the
full-length...and the full-length was passed around the office so much and
loved so thoroughly that they've opted to make it the cover story of next
week's issue.
