An earworm is only disagreeable if you hate the content (e.g., Starland
Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight" running through your head for a day).
Personally, I don't think it's possible for me to get sick of having "My
Girl" or "Surrender" or "Hey, Ya!" stuck in my head. And even if a
beloved song *did* wear out its welcome eventually ... well, I don't
like getting bits of roast beef stuck in my teeth, but that's not going
to make me stop eating it. So I still don't think that there's such a
thing as "too catchy".
